Getting to know Pawara

Welcome to the one of the newest and most comfortable live-aboard in the Andaman Sea, the MV. Pawara. It is our pleasure to introduce to you this new modern Thai-style live-aboard that will be providing you with a unique diving experience for your trip to the Andaman Sea.

The name ‘Pawara’ is a Thai-Sansakrit word, which means ‘Treasures of the Corals’. Pawara was thoughtfully and delicately named by professor Anant Laulertvorakul Ph.D. Thai from Chulalongkorn University, to reflect the Thai lifestyle of its nature and the comforting environment that the live-aboard will provide you.

Pawara is a brand new steel hull, one of a kind, custom-built, luxury live-aboard diving ship that has only recently entered the scene. She set sail for the first time on February 2006, having been newly constructed by Phuket’s highly experienced ship-builders.
Pawara is the result of a design that has (cleverly, elegantly, smoothly) blended together the modern amenities of today’s living with the classic Thai craftsmanship. The decoration and setting have been attentively selected to set you in the comforting Thai-style ambience.
Pawara is extremely spacious. Her 35 meters long steel construction gives a large and stable platform from which to explore the Andaman Sea. Pawara’s facilities, such as the 35 square meters lounge, the air-conditioned dining room, the extra span 72 square meters sundeck, and the spacious gearing up area will combine to ensure that you enjoy your dives, while relax between dives in style.
Each of Pawara’s 10 twin cabins has its own unit of air-conditioning, as well as en suite shower & toilet to give you privacy and maximum comforts. 5 meals will be served per each full day and Pawara’s crew will do their best to take care of you throughout your trip.
So make the most of your diving trip by exploring the World’s renowned sites of the Andaman Sea aboard.
